Coming from a watchmaker's family, the four Mermod sons founded the Mermod frères workshop in 1816. The brand became prestigious and very well known in the luxury market over the following years. Regrettably, the Crash of 1929 will slow-down this impressive success and stop their activity.
In 2006, Mermod frères is back as a luxurious and well-established brand. Thus, Mermod Frères, also well-known for their impressive know-how in music boxes, launched a new watch after four years research. The primo 4 is a musical watch with four visible disks that play four different melodies. It is inspired from the old 1920's Mermod watches and designed more modern by its size and shape.
