The serial number is 569156 and reference number is 3131. The movement is running while cataloguing, however it may require a service in the near future in order to be well preserved. The dial shows 2 small hair lines on the green enamel between 5 and 6 and 1 scuff to the centre. The outer chapter ring is discoloured consistent with its age. The bezel and bracelet show some light scuff from occasional wear. The case is in good condition. This watch featuring an enamel dial is a rare and interesting example of reference 3131. for an almost identical model please refer to "The best of time Rolex wristwatches" by J. M. Dowling and J.P. Hess p. 203.
