Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, attached to the mount at intervals along all four edges, with the recto floating in the mount. There are two perforation lines to the centre of the sheet, with several binding holes and associated flattened creases between, instrinsic to the nature of the support. The left perforation line has been supported with a very thin tissue paper and the right perforation line is also supported towards the lower edge. There is a minor nick to the centre of the lower edge on the binding crease and a further tiny nick to the left of the upper edge. Apart from a 2 cm. flattened crease to the lower left corner and some light time staining to the extreme edges of the sheet, this work is in good condition. Colours: Overall accurate, although the red tones are slightly more subtle and the paper tone is slightly warmer in the original.
