Condition

The canvas is lined. There is a small area of retouching in the upper right corner and some small areas of paint thinning in the upper right quadrant with associated specks of retouching. There are further small scattered specks of retouching in the upper area of the sky. Apart from some light craquelure and a few areas of paint thinning with tiny specks of paint loss in the upper part of the sky, this work is in good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate, although the blues are brighter and the yellow of the sand is slightly warmer in the original.
