Condition

The canvas is not lined. There are some areas of retouching to the upper and lower sections of the right edge, a few small areas appearing at intervals along the lower edge and some further minor specks of retouching mainly to the area above the skyline, one of which covers a minor scratch to the pigment. All retouching is visible under UV light. Apart from a small area of retouching to the upper left corner to cover a stamp and a 1 cm. sq. area of retouching to the top of the left edge, visible under UV light, this work is in good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate, although the colours, particularly the green tones, are slightly brighter in the original.
