Condition
The canvas is not lined. There are some minor areas of retouching along the extreme edges of the upper right corner and two flecks of retouching towards the upper left corner, all visible under UV light. Apart from some very light craquelure in the lower right quadrant, this work is in very good condition.
Colours: The colours are overall softer in the original than in the illustration of the printed catalogue; The sky is more blue, and the colour contrasts are overall more subtle, especially in the rocks.
