Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, attached to the mount at the upper, lower and right edges. There is a small pinhead-sized spot of paint loss with associated discolouration towards the centre of the lower edge and tiny specks of paint loss to the blue circle of the composition. There are some minor surface scratches, mainly to the lower left quadrant. Apart from some handling marks, glue remnants and light foxing to the extreme edges external to the painted composition (none visible when framed), this work is in good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the colours are overall fresher in the original.
