Acquired by the present owner in 2000

Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down, attached to the overmount along all four edges. There is a vertical repaired tear to the centre of the upper edge. The upper and right edges are supported on the reverse and the lower and left edges are partly supported on the reverse with associated discolouration to the upper left and right edges (visible in the catalogue illustration). Apart from some minor flattened creases, mainly to the lower edge, and some undulation to the sheet, this work is in fairly good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate, although slightly less red in the original than in the catalogue illustration.
