Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount in the top two corners. The upper edge is slightly uneven, as the sheet has been removed from a sketchbook. There is some light transference on the reverse of the work, most probably from the subsequent sheet in the sketchbook. Apart from some minor time staining to the sheet, this work is in good original condition.
