Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, attached to the mount in all four corners, floating in the mount. There is a vertical fold with associated binding holes running parallel to the left edge, instrinsic to the sketchbook from which the sheet was taken, visible in the catalogue illustration. The paper has become separated in the centre of the fold and there is a 1cm. tear to the uppermost binding hole. The remaining area of the left folio sheet has been folded behind the work. Apart from a 1cm. sq. area of paper skinning with associated adhesive residue towards the upper left corner, due to previous mounting and some light time staining to the sheet, this work is in good condition.
