Provenance

Acquired by the family of the present owner in Berlin circa 1930

Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount in the top two corners, floating in the mount. There are artist's pinholes to all four corners and a further pinhole towards the centre of the right edge. There is a 3cm. horizontal repaired tear to the lower centre of the right edge. Apart from some minor spots of foxing to the background and some light studio dirt, this work is in good condition.
