The panel is slightly bowed but sound and stable. There are tiny spots of fluorescence visible under UV light along all four edges, possibly retouching or an uneven varnish and probably due to frame rubbing. There are two further nailhead-sized spots of fluorescence visible under UV light towards the upper right corner, possibly retouchings. Apart from a minor area of paint loss caused by frame rubbing to the centre of the left edge and some very light craquelure in the sitter's hair, this work is in very good overall condition.
