Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down. The sheet is hinged at two points along the upper edge. There are four minor tears to the upper part of the left edge, the largest of which has been repaired, and four others to the upper edge. There are two small nicks to the paper towards the centre of the upper edge and two very minor nicks on the right shoulder of the figure. There is also some paper abrasion around the calves of the figure which is visible to the naked eye. Apart from some time-staining throughout, this work is in good condition.
