Condition
The canvas is tightly stretched and unlined. The lower edge and lower parts of the left and right edges are slightly yellowing, perhaps from its former frame. There are some very minor frame abrasions on the left edge. Seen with raking light, there appears to be a 1 ½ in. section, 11 in. from lower left corner that might have been retouched. Under UV light inspection there are a few retouched: some along the edges and there are a couple of parallel horizontal lines of retouching in the center, red section, 18 ½ in. from lower edge. There are 3 more small retouches to the red in the upper right quadrant. Overall, the work is in excellent condition.
