Under UV light inspection there are frame abrasions to all four edges that have been retouched. There is still slight scuffing apparent on the right margin. Also visible under UV light is a ¼ in. spot of inpainting located 5 in. from the left margin and 7 in. from the top margin and another ½ in. repainted area of flaking in the top center. There is an uneven application of varnish which is visible under raking light, particularly in the upper half of the painting. There are two intermittent vertical lines of scuffing in the lower center of the work. There is a diagonal white scratch extending out of the right margin, about 5 in. from lower right corner. Overall this painting is in very good condition.
