There is craquelure throughout the surface, more prominent in some areas. There are stretcher marking on all four margins and some minor losses from frame abrasions on the margins. Under UV light inspection there are several spots of retouching, The largest is in the center part of the sky and some more scattered around the margins, especially the left. There is also some retouching in the boat and some scattered spots on the trees to the left of the composition. Overall, the painting is in good condition.
