Description

The square box of geometric inspiration applied with four baguette diamonds, opening to a mirror and powder compartment, the latter embellished to the lid with an enamelled oriental landscape, measurements approximately 50 x 50 x 10mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, French assay and maker's marks, pochette.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks for gold. The box is mounted in Osmior (18 carat gold and platinum alloy), the interior in palladiated gold. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels 'From France'. Enamel in good condition. Some minor scratches consistent with age and use. In good condition.
