- cat's-eye chrysoberyl, diamond and gold
Centring on a cabochon cat's-eye chrysoberyl weighing 18.76 carats, surrounded by pear-shaped rose-cut diamonds, decorated by brilliant-cut diamonds of brown hue, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.15 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GRS report, the cat's-eye chrysoberyl is natural, with no traces of radioactivity detected, of GRS type "honey color". Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the cat's-eye is of medum, brownish greenish yellow, eye clean, displaying a distinct chatoyancy upon spotlight illumination, pleasing roundish outline. Upon 10x loupe, there are some natural inclusions and fingerprints, not noticeable to naked eyes. The rose-cut diamonds are probably F to G colours, mostly VS clarity. Coloured diamonds are about meduim light to medium brownish yellow colour, VS to SI clarity.
Condition: Karat white gold and gold ring mount, in very good condition.
