The articulated necklace composed of thirty-seven cushion-shaped rubies, interspersed among a brilliant-cut diamond-set mesh necklace, the rubies together weighing approximately 66.70 carats, length approximately 420mm; and a pair of matching ear clips, each composed of three similarly-set cushion-shaped rubies altogether weighing approximately 9.30 carats, clip and post fittings; the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 64.20 carats; mounted in platinum and 18 karat yellow gold. (2)
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to SSEF report, the rubies on both necklace and earclips are natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the rubies are matching, intense to strong red colour, slightly included to naked eyes, with brilliance. Upon 10x loupe, there are natural inclusions and a few may be surface reaching, but overall not noticeable to naked eyes or distract the visual beauty. Diamonds are about F to G colours, VS clarity, lively stones.
Condition: Nice workmanship that the entire necklace is very soft and the platinum links are well-articulated. Both necklace and earclips are in very good condition.
