Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the emeralds are of a medium green colour, with some natural inclusions but generally very clean for emerald standards. The rubies are of a lively intense purplish red, pinkish red to red colour, some show abraded facets, chips and surface reaching inclusions visible under 10x loupe but not noticeable to naked eyes. The sapphires are of a a lively intense blue colour, a few of medium blue colour, some also show abraded facets and surface reaching inclusions. The yellow diamonds are of an intense orangy yellow to orangy brownish yellow, SI-I clarity. Diamonds are about E-G colours, VS-SI clarity. Condition: The central cluster can be detached to form a clip brooch. A multi-purpose piece of jewellery typical of this period. In good condition for its age. Designed and created in 1937, the earrings were made to match in 1956 and some of the coloured stones on necklace were upgraded.
