Description
- ruby, sapphire, diamond, gold
Centring on a cushion-shaped ruby weighing approximately 1.00 carat, amid a circular openwork frame set with old-cut diamonds, highlighted by sapphire drops, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GRS report, the ruby is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indication of thermal treatment, of GRS type "pigeon's blood" red colour. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the ruby is of vivid red colour, eye clean. Upon 10x loupe, there are some included crystals and a few surface reaching feathers, not seen to naked eyes. Sapphires are about medium to medium light blue colour, eye clean. Diamonds together weighing approximately 0.80 carat are about G to I colours, mostly VS clarity.
Condition: Vintage piece probably dated back to early 20th century, has signs of wear and surface abrasions to the metal, consistent with age and use, otherwise in good condition.

Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
