Description
- gold, pink sapphire, necklace, earrings
The graduated single-strand set with foiled-back oval pink topazes, length 18¾ inches, the earrings set with foiled-back oval and pear-shaped pink topazes, pendant detachable, total weight of the pink topazes approximately 200.00 carats. With fitted box.
Condition
Pink topazes of rich pink color and moderate to strong saturation, very lively and lightly included. The foil backing to the stones is probably increasing intensity of color, which is accurate in the illustration. One topaz has been taken out of the mounting to ascertain the degree of foil-backing; images available upon request. The mounting to one stone seems to have been repaired. Posts on earrings are later added. In good condition.
