The cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 11.06 carats, flanked by cushion-shaped diamonds each weighing 3.01 carats, the shank accented by small single-cut diamonds, signed 5¾.
Condition
Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 1005557 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, no indications of heating. Together with an appendix from Gübelin discussing the rarity and virtues of this particular gemstone. Also accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2010-033185 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, no indication of thermal treatment; and AGL report no. CS 38950 stating that the sapphire is of Classic Kashmir origin, no gemological evidence of heat enhancement present.
Also accompanied by GIA report no. 15082048 stating that the 3.01 carat diamond is D color, SI1 clarity; and GIA report no. 14568792 stating that the 3.01 carat diamond is D color, VS2 clarity. The additional small single-cut diamonds are approximately G-H color and VS clarity. Lovely detailed engraving throughout the mounting which remains crisp and in good condition. Stamped with maker's mark which is a backwards R and a B within a rectangular frame.
