The painting is in overall good condition, as is the canvas, which is clear and intact. Ultraviolet light reveals some minor, small scattered spots of retouching, particularly on the general background, but these are visible only under UV light. The colours of the actual painting are overall less red while the white background has a slight yellow tint in reality.
