This work is in generally good overall condition. The bearing is slightly wavy by the upper corners and by the lower left corner. There are some craquelures along the margins and in correspondence of an indentation towards the centre. There are few little losses towards the centre of the lower margin, by the upper right corner, towards the left upper margin and by the lower left corner, partially visible in the catalogue illustration. No traces of retouching appears to be visible under UV light.

Erano quadri originalissimi: verniciati con una sola tinta o due, a coprire l'intero rettangolo della superficie o due rettangoli accostati; la vernice era data... su uno strato di carta da pacchi, incollata sulla tela. (...) Le forme schematiche di Schifano si andavano sempre più precisando come campo; le tele orlate da contorni rettangolari, ad angoli smussati, somigliavano ad uno schermo preparato a ricevere, o ad un video appena acceso, che stia riscaldandosi (...).
