The battle of Arbelles:
The condition of the painting seems to be mildly satisfactory.
Relined.
The painting has been strongly relined fifty years ago.
To the naked eye, the painting looks nice and doesn't need restoration.
Under UV lamp:
The painting has been partially cleaned and there are some old traces of green varnish.
There are some repaints in the sky and on the characters. The painting was probably rolled up.
In a very spectacular gilt moulded frame.
Alexander and Porus:
The condition of the painting seems to be satisfactory.
Relined.
The painting has been strongly relined fifty years ago.
