Condition
A vertical and slanted slit (from the framework to the dark part on the right)
Two small slits on the left side.
The painting is dirty.
Under the ultraviolet light, some scattered restorations on the surface and along the right slit.
Some cracks have been restored.

Elève d'Eugène Delacroix, Louis Boulangé est surtout connu pour ses paysages des Ardennes et de la forêt de Fontainebleau, qu'il exposa au Salon de Paris à partir de 1845. Notre tableau montre nettement l'influence de Delacroix.
