Catalogue Note

A l'heure de la rédaction de ce catalogue, quatre autres tirages nous étaient connus.

'We went to some eight or ten carefully chosen pulquerias, - Frances, Diego and I, to make records for an article Diego had written for the Folkways. I have enthused before over the pulqueria, - my feeling has been sustained. The aspiring young painters of Mexico should study the unaspiring paintings – popular themes – popular art – which adorn the humble and often – most often – filthy pulqueria.'  (Daybooks, 30  Mai 1926, p. 161.)
