14 (of 16) photographs from Portfolio Three: Yosemite Valley (San Francisco: Sierra Club, 1960), each mounted, signed in pencil on the mount, the portfolio stamp, sequential numbers and '65' in red ink, and a 'Photography Collection of the Polaroid Corporation' label, with typed credit, title, accession information, and plate number, on the reverse, 1926-59, printed in 1960; together with duplicate letterpress title/colophon/plate list and introduction by Adams, each with number '65' in red ink or pencil, no. 65 in an edition of 208 (14)

Condition
These photographs are in generally excellent condition except as noted. The missing plates are 'Trees and Snow' and 'Dogwood Blossoms.' The plates are as follows:
1. 'Monolith, The Face of Half Dome' - On the mount, there are a few stray graphite marks and tack holes in the upper left and right and lower left corners. The lower right mount corner exhibits minor liquid staining. On the reverse of the mount, there are a few insignificant abrasions to the top paper ply.
2. 'Merced River, Cliffs of Cathedral Rocks, Autumn'
3. 'Lower Yosemite Fall' - Upon very close examination in high raking light, a tiny mounting disturbance is visible in the lower left quadrant of the image.
5. 'Branches in Snow' - On the reverse of the mount, there are a few insignificant abrasions to the top paper ply.
6. 'El Capitan Sunrise' - In raking light, the following are visible: a 3-inch horizontal surface impression in the upper mountain area; and pin-point-sized impressions in the sky and upper mountain region.
7. 'Tenaya Creek, Spring Rain'
8. 'Water and Foam' - Upon very close examination, a few tiny surface accretions are visible in the upper right quadrant of the image. There is a stray black ink dot near the upper left mount edge.
9. 'Winter Storm'
11. 'Grass and Pool'
12. 'Nevada Fall, Rainbow'
13. 'Rushing Water, Merced River'
14. 'Bridalveil Fall' - Visible upon close examination are the following: a tiny surface scratch that does not appear to break the emulsion in the sky area in the upper portion of the print; and a tiny accretion of indeterminate nature in the lower left quadrant. On the reverse of the mount, there are a few insignificant abrasions to the top paper ply.
15. 'Trees and Cliffs' - There appears to be minor water staining in the lower right mount corner and along the lower edge of the mount on the reverse.
16. 'Half Dome, Thunder Cloud' - On the reverse of the mount, there are a few minor abrasions to the top paper ply and some moss-colored soiling.
