Condition
These unique large-format Polaroid prints are in generally very good to excellent condition, except where noted below. The colors are rich and saturated, with little or no apparent fading.
Closeup of Door of Saugus Iron Works - this print is flush-mounted to paper and has the credit and title on the reverse. There is a 1 3/4-inch-long series of small creases that breaks the emulsion,k in the lower right quadrant. In raking light, a crescent-shaped handling crease is visible near the lower right edge of the print.
Saugus Iron Works - processing notations are in ink on the reverse at the top edge. As is typical of the processing of Polaroids in this size format, the lower edge is somewhat unevenly trimmed.

Saugus Iron Works is a National Historic Site located on the Saugus River, ten miles no🥂rtheast of Boston, Massachusetts. Opened in 1646 in what was the Massachusetts Bay Colony, it was the first integrated ir🐭onworks in North America. The current site includes the restored 17th century house pictured here and reconstructed blast furnace, forge, and rolling mill.
