These ferrotyped prints are in generally excellent condition. When examined in raking light, typical but minor conditions that are the result of somewhat uneven ferrotyping exist; namely, some very small pin-dot and droplet-shaped areas and thinning of ferrotyping at the edges of the prints, as well as very faint superficial surface scratches that do not break the emulsion. Other condition notes are as follows: 2. In high raking light, a small irregular surface scratch that does not break the emulsion is visible in the right side of the gastank. 4. Upon close examination, in the upper left quadrant of the image, there is a ¼-inch linear disruption in the ferrotyped surface 5. Upon close examination, the following are visible: a small irregular surface scratch that does not appear to break the emulsion in the left side of the gastank; an 1/8-inch disruption in the upper portion of the sky; and minor edge chipping in the lower left corner. 6. In the lower center portion of the image, there is a ¼-inch linear disruption in the ferroyped surface.
