This striking print is in generally excellent condition. In high raking light, the following are visible: a 1½-inch vertical surface scratch that does not break the emulsion along the lower left edge of the print and a few tiny deposits of original retouching overall. There is minor edge chipping along the left edge of the print. Along the lower left edge of the mount is a 6¼-inch area of light black- and rust-colored liquid staining, likely due to a previous exposure to moisture. The same area is affected, to a lesser degree, on the reverse of the mount. There is no disturbance to the print. The lower right corner of the mount is bent and there is a 1½-inch handling crease extending from the middle of the left mount edge. The mount edges and corners are bumped, and there is nominal soiling at the periphery. On the reverse of the mount is the annotation 'C5139' in an unknown hand. The edges are abraded, and there is light soiling, primarily at the periphery due to handling.
