mounted, signed and dated in pencil on the mount, 1935 (Witkin, A Ten Year Salute, p. 66)

Condition

This early photograph, on a modern mount, is in generally excellent condition. There is a faint graphite-colored smudge on the mount below the print. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce. This early print was acquired directly from Weston by a previous owner in the 1970s. At that owner's request, the prints were placed on modern mounts and then signed and dated by Weston on those mounts.
