Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is much brighter in the original with the salmon pink tending more to a vibrant orange, the brown to a deep bronze and the green to an electric green.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is wear to all four corner tips, with associated minute specks of paint losses to the lower left corner of the top canvas.
There are some faint handling marks in places along the orange left edge, the green right edge and to the lower left corner of the composition. There is a small rub mark 3cm from the upper left corner. There are some faint tension cracks running parallel to the left section of the bottom edge and two 4cm rub marks adjacent to these. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
