Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is more vibrant in the original with the red tending more to an orange red and the brown to deep bordeaux. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a splash of media accretion at the centre of the upper left quadrant. Upon very close inspection there are some faint handling marks to edges. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some minor retouches along the extreme lower edge and to the extreme edges of all four corners.
