The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is softer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are some stable drying craquelure in places, most notably to the upper right quadrant of the composition. There is a small speck of white media accretion 5cm below the upper right corner. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals tiny retouches scattered throughout the canvas professionally restored mainly notable along the right edge and upper half part of the painting.
