Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original work.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are stable craquelure scattered in places throughout the surface, most notably to the left flank of the composition and beneath the top edge. There are two small circular patterns of impact craqulure in the lower composition. Close inspection reveals some impasto peaks are missing and several isolated spots of paint lifting and small paint losses. Some retouches only along the extreme four edges, only visible under ultraviolet light.
