Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is softer in the original with the hues or orange tending more to a cold cream. Condition: This work is in good condition. There are some cracks in places throughout, most notably running diagonally from the upper corners of the composition (faintly visible in the catalogue illustration). There is an area of circular cracks to the darker paint in the centre of the right half of the composition and a further smaller circular network of cracks towards the lower left corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
