Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged to the backing mount at intervals on the reverse. The lower edge of the sheet is deckled. On close examination there are a few minute patches of drying craquelure: two to the yellow pigment in the lower left quadrant and the others at intervals along the top extreme edge. The patch of craquelure to the grey pigment at the centre of the top edge has resulted in some minor surface flaking (visible in the catalogue illustration).
