Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly brighter and more vibrant, with the blue horizontal bands at top and bottom tending more to Ceylon blue in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some natural surface variation and inherent surface inconsistencies throughout the lead, original to the artist’s choice of media. A small scratch is visible to the lead, left of the centre. There is a further small scratch towards the bottom of the right extreme edge and some spots of wear in isolated places around the extreme edges. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
