Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the swirls of red tend more towards a darker cherry red in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey fully the metallic silver of the surface scratches apparent in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The work can be installed vertically or horizontally. The metal sheets are slightly warped. There are a number of small media accretions, rub marks, screw holes and surface irregularities to the metal sheets, all of which appear inherent to the artist’s working process. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
