Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is richer and deeper, with the orange tending more to fluorescent orange, and with greater saturation to the hues overall in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is an extremely fine horizontal surface imperfection to the left of the centre on the top extreme edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.

Catalogue Note

'They're a miracle of technology... I tell you what it is, I really like making them. And I really like the machine, and I really like the movement. The movement sort of implies life. Every time they're finished, I'm desperate to do another one.'
