Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer, with the more prominent green tones in (ii). Colour: These works are in very good condition. (i) Each sheet is hinged to the backing board in the top two corners on the reverse. Both sheets are uneven and are slightly undulating. There are a few handling creases to both sheets, notably a diagonal crease in the lower half of the right hand sheet, all of which are probably original to the artist's working process. There are a few tiny spots of media accretion scattered in a few places on both sheets. (ii) The sheet is attached to the backing board in a few places on the reverse. The vertical edges are uneven. There are several handing creases to the sheet which are probably original to the work's execution. (iii) The sheet is hinged to the backing board along the top edge. Visible only beneath the mount, there is mount staining along all four edges. The sheet is slightly undulating.
