Condition
This sculpture is in very good condition and has recently been polished. The sculpture can go outdoors but the polished surface should be regularly maintained. As is to be expected, there are some random areas of very minor light scratches overall with slightly more apparent scratches located as follows with the catalogue illustration as a guide for orientation: an area of 4 horizontal scratches on the back bottom right quadrant of the orb ranging in length from 2 in. to 5 ½ in. in the bottom ¼ of the sculpture; a 1 3/4 in. horizontal scratch on the front left quadrant located in the bottom 1/8 of the sculpture, and a very light wavy horizontal 11 in. abrasion 11 in. located on the front left quadrant in the bottom 1/3 of the sculpture . The sphere is currently attached to a custom welded steel palette which houses the sleeve that the central pin of the structure fits into.
