Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is light wear and handling along the edges with associated minor losses, most noticeably at the lower left corner. The collaged elements are stable and secure. There are scattered surface abrasions throughout the canvas. There is a 1 1/2 inch liquid accretion located 11 inches from the top edge and 18 1/2 inches from the right edge which can be seen under raking light and which fluoresces brightly under ultra violet light inspection. All other surface inconsistencies appear inherent to the artist's working method. There is minor discoloration around the edges of the collaged elements, most noticeably along the perimeter of the sections of white canvas, presumably due to the collaging process. Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
