Publisher's cinammon-brown rib-grained cloth, covers blocked in blind with decorative holly and ivy border, upper cover and spine gilt with author and title within holly wreath, green-coated endpapers, all edges gilt; spine and inner hinges skillfully renewed with original backstrip laid down, binding with some wear and fading, endpapers rubbed. quarter green morocco clamshell case, spine gilt in 6 compartments.
