Catalogue Note

First English edition. Copy 46 of 100 copies on mould-made paper, signed by Joyce (of a whole edition of 1000).

This edition was based on the second impression of the Odyssey Press edition of 1933, with the addition of appendices: "International Protest" and "Injunction against Samuel🍎 Roth," a letter from Joyce to Bennett Cerf with other materials on the court case which lifted the ban on publication, and Pertzhoff's "Bibliography."
