Unlined. painting is presentable as is. the paint surface is generally very well preserved and there is lovely detail in figure and dog. examination under ultraviolet light reveals tiny dots of repaint on her nose and forehead and some older retouches to her cheek and temple. tiny dots of repaint on her fingers, dog's paw and head; a few scattered in hair, white drapery and background. these have been well applied and there is no need for further work.
In a gilt wood frame with a punched design at outer edges. some nicks.
