Unlined. under a slightly dirty, discolored old varnish. there is very good preservation of the paint surface with lovely detail in landscape and most of the figures. the two dancing figures at right are thinly painted and have gone slightly transparent. there is an overall craquelure pattern. no significant retouches show up under ultraviolet examination. In a gilt wood frame with carved foliate pattern at corners and around inner rim. A few minor nicks.
