The canvas of this work is not lined. There is a layer of varnish on the surface and some very minor surface dirt. Under ultra-violet light; there are very faint horizontal hairlines of retouching on the upper edge, likely to address prior frame abrasion. There are also two small vertical hairlines just below the upper right corner. Overall the work is in excellent condition.
